About me - Rachel (she/her)
I became a psychotherapist in midlife. Before that, I worked as an activist, a full-time parent, and an attorney, all experiences that enrich my approach to therapy. No matter my job title, my focus has been on supporting and empowering people, whether they are in crisis or just looking to connect with their authentic selves. I believe deeply in my clients, and I believe deeply that psychotherapy can change lives — and changing one life can change the world.
I often work with women, LGBTQIA+, and neurodivergent folks, but I warmly welcome clients of all identities. I have deep empathy for people who feel like outsiders in one way or another, and who are struggling to stay true to themselves as they navigate the complexities of demanding jobs, parenting, life transitions, existential grief, and surviving these destabilizing times. None of us can do it all alone. Whether you opt to work with me or another provider, I encourage you to reach out — you deserve support.

“No person, trying to take responsibility for her or his identity, should have to be so alone. There must be those among whom we can sit down and weep, and still be counted as warriors.”
